The occasion: 30 years of Ploum
Ploum didn’t just want to mark the anniversary, but to experience it consciously. Enjoying a memorable experience together with colleagues, in a destination that fits the occasion: stylish, meaningful, and with an eye for quality. The goal was clear: celebrating together, connecting, and creating memories that linger for a long time.
From anniversary to experience
From the start, the focus was on customization. Through intensive personal contact and regular office visits, we gained a clear picture of the organization, the anniversary sentiment, and the role that sustainability should play. Input was shared weekly, allowing Ploum to coordinate with their internal anniversary committee. In this way, the program grew step by step, in close collaboration.
In addition to coordinating the content, site inspections were carried out, both with partners in the Netherlands and on location in Reims and Épernay. Every element was carefully chosen: from venues and activities to logistics, branding, and communication. Even a personal event website with a registration page was developed, fully in line with the theme. Everything breathed: 30 years of Ploum.
The program: celebrating in the Champagne region
Day 1 – Arrival, history, and anniversary party
The group departed from the office in Rotterdam for France by luxury coach. Ploum consciously chose to partner with a coach company that runs on HVO100 diesel, a more sustainable fuel type that contributes to reducing the trip’s CO₂ emissions. Along the way, a stop was made for a welcome lunch at a unique venue in Brussels.
In Reims, a warm welcome followed at a UNESCO Champagne house, featuring canapés and an exclusive private visit to the cellars. During a champagne tasting, the anniversary and the rich history of both the region and Ploum itself were honored.
After checking in and freshening up, the absolute highlight was on the program for the evening: an anniversary dinner, followed by a party with a DJ. An evening where celebrating together, pride, and fun took center stage.
Day 2 – Relaxed conclusion and togetherness
After breakfast and check-out, the group departed for Épernay. At a luxury Château, the day began with welcome coffee and sweets. Various unique activities took place around the Château, providing space for meeting and relaxation.
The anniversary trip concluded with a joint farewell lunch, after which the team returned to Rotterdam by luxury coach.
The result: a meaningful anniversary
The anniversary trip delivered exactly what Ploum had envisioned: an incredibly positive experience, strong mutual connection, and an anniversary that was sincerely felt and shared. Every detail was right, from the program and locations to the atmosphere and branding. The anniversary wasn’t just celebrated, but truly experienced, together, in a way that fits who Ploum is.
