DAF International Dealer Meeting: Strategy and Connection in Spain

International dealer meetings are a key moment in the year for organizations like DAF. It is the time when dealers from all over the world come together to discuss strategy, market developments, and ambitions, while simultaneously strengthening mutual cooperation.

For DAF MarCom, we once again organized the annual International Dealer Meeting in Benidorm and Alicante (Spain), with over 280 participants from various countries. As a long-standing conference partner, we have supported DAF for years in the organization of this international program.

During this edition, strategy, knowledge sharing, and networking between dealers were central, culminating in a festive award gala where the achievements of dealers worldwide were celebrated.

The Objective: Bringing International Dealers Together

The annual dealer meeting is an important platform for DAF to bring international partners together.

During this meeting:

By bringing together dealers from different countries, it creates not only knowledge sharing but also a stronger international network within the organization.

Our Role: The Logistical Foundation for an International Meeting

For a meeting with 280 international participants, a solid organizational foundation is essential. Our team handled the complete logistical organization and management, both during preparation and on-site.

Our approach included:

The core content of the program was determined by DAF; we ensured that all logistics and execution aligned seamlessly.

The Program: Content, Connection, and Experience

Over the course of six days, dealers, partners, and internal teams came together for a program where strategy, knowledge sharing, and informal networking alternated.

The first day focused on the arrival of the organizational team, consisting of the DAF team, the BARENTSZEN team, and the Bazelmans AV team. Together, the final preparations for the conference were completed.

The conference venue was set up and prepared for the various program components. Meanwhile, the first international participants arrived.

Most participants arrived on this day. After an early arrival lunch, participants could take part in a padel tournament, after which the day concluded with a welcome dinner—a first opportunity for dealers from different countries to meet.

The day started actively with a DAF morning run, followed by the main plenary sessions where strategy and developments were shared.

In the afternoon, participants could choose from various activities, including hiking, a wine tasting at a local winery, go-karting, quad biking, a city tour, or golf.

In the evening, the highlight of the conference followed: the award gala dinner, where dealers were recognized for their achievements.

The final conference day was entirely dedicated to in-depth content. Six different workshops discussed topics relevant to dealers worldwide.

The 45-minute sessions followed one another in a tight schedule, guided by the so-called “ladies in red” who assisted participants between sessions.

The workshops were followed by a joint lunch and national meetings per country, after which the majority of participants departed.

The last guests and the organizational team departed from Benidorm, concluding an intensive and successful conference week.

The International Dealer Meeting brought dealers from different countries together around strategy, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.

Thanks to tightly organized logistics and a well-coordinated program, participants could focus entirely on the conference content and connecting with fellow dealers.
