During a two-day program in Antwerp and the Port of Antwerp, engineers—along with their partners—had the opportunity to see the cranes they design and build in action in one of Europe’s largest ports.
The program combined knowledge, professional pride, and connection between colleagues and their loved ones.
The objective: showing engineers the impact of their work
Every year, Konecranes invites engineers to experience their work from a different perspective. By seeing the cranes actually operating in the Port of Antwerp:

- pride in the profession and the end result grows

Our role: ensuring everything runs smoothly
We handle the complete logistical organization and coordination for this annual program. Thanks to our long-standing partnership with Konecranes, we know exactly what is needed to make the program run seamlessly.

The program: from port experience to connection in Antwerp
Day 1 – The port in action
The group departed from Germany for Antwerp. Upon arrival, the program began with a boat tour through the Port of Antwerp, accompanied by a German-speaking guide.
During this tour, the engineers had the chance to see the cranes they design at work in their natural environment.
After checking into the hotel, the day concluded with a group dinner in the heart of Antwerp’s city center.
Day 2 – Discovering Antwerp
The second day started with a walking tour of Antwerp, also with a German-speaking guide. This gave participants an impression of the city’s history and culture.
The trip concluded with a group lunch in the Art Nouveau Hall of Horta, after which the group traveled back to Germany.
The result: pride in the work and a stronger connection
The program gave Konecranes engineers the chance to see their work from a new perspective. Experiencing the cranes in action in the Port of Antwerp resulted in:
