Gaining valuable insights for their own field
AetA was looking for an inspiring architecture excursion where the team could visit several unique buildings and urban developments in a short period. The Ruhr area proved to be the ideal destination for this. This region is internationally known for the successful transformation of former industrial sites into innovative residential, working, and cultural areas. It was precisely the combination of industrial heritage, modern architecture, and sustainable urban development that made this inspiration trip particularly relevant for the participants.
Complete peace of mind regarding logistical organization
While AetA was responsible for the content of the program, we took care of the entire logistical organization of the trip. From comfortable bus transport and a carefully selected hotel to organizing the group dinner: all practical matters were handled for them. This allowed the group to focus entirely on visiting inspiring locations and gaining new knowledge.
The program: two days full of architecture and inspiration
Day 1 – Arrival in the Ruhr area and building visits
The inspiration trip started with a bus journey from Eindhoven to the Ruhr area. The bus was a conscious choice to limit the ecological footprint.
During the day, the group visited various architectural projects and buildings selected by AetA. Additionally, there was plenty of opportunity to exchange experiences and gain new insights together.
On the first day, the excursion concluded with a group dinner, followed by an overnight stay in Germany.
Day 2 – Building visits and departure
On the second day, several more architectural visits were on the agenda, after which the group traveled back to Eindhoven by bus.

The two-day excursion offered AetA the opportunity to visit various inspiring projects and buildings in the Ruhr area in a short time. Thanks to the carefully curated program, participants gained a clear picture of the architectural and urban developments in the region.
